WireTech Expo: Komax wins the UNMEXAR award

The WireTech Expo in Chihuahua, Mexico, has emerged as a pivotal event for the wire processing and electrical harness industry, spotlighting advancements in wire processing technology and fostering collaboration within Mexico. The fourth year had an exhibition floor of 80 exhibitors, with over 1400 visitors. The WireTech Expo has attracted numerous global companies, with educational sessions and seminars. Felipe Nunez, Project Manager of Harness Manufacturing and Assembly, from Komax gave a seminar on “Are You Ready for the Future of Wire Harness Automation”?
Komax was a major exhibitor at the WireTech Expo, showcasing its cutting-edge innovations designed to enhance efficiency in manufacturing, services, and quality control. At the event, Komax along with Schleuniger and Cirris, demonstrated new technologies aimed at optimizing wire processing operations with hands on demonstrations.
One of the key moments during the WireTech Expo was Komax's recognition with the UNMEXAR award, an accolade presented by UNMEXAR which is the first civil association of the wire harness industry in Mexico accepted by Tim Macalpine, Managing Director of Komax USA. This award recognizes outstanding contributions to the wire harness industry, highlighting Komax's role in driving innovation and quality within this essential sector. UNMEXAR formed earlier this year, seeks to unite companies, universities, and government agencies involved in the wire harness market, with a focus on automotive and aerospace.
