Automation Technician EFZ
Together with other specialists, automation engineers take care of the production of automated systems, their commissioning and repair, as well as project planning, programming and documentation. As an automation engineer, you work on complex control or automation projects, usually in a team with our specialists. You also work intensively with electrical engineering, pneumatics, sensor technology, drive technology, programming and control technology.
Using checklists, automation technicians carry out tests and function checks and document the results in test reports. When troubleshooting machines and systems, they use state-of-the-art testing and measuring instruments. Compliance with applicable safety regulations and the protection of the environment and their own health are also important topics.
In-company training is divided into broad basic training and in-depth training in at least one area of activity.

What you should bring with you
